Catwalk by Tigi Soft Knot for Spring Summer 2012

Catwalk by Tigi have created some 'how to' videos using their collection of hair products.  I have decided to try a few out and film them for you, here is my attempt at the first in the series, the Soft Knot..

Using Root Boost and  Work It Hairspray, you will also need a hair dryer, big round brush, and some kirby grips.

The products smell amazing and were really effective and easy to use.  The next look I will be attempting is Retro Volume!

RapidBrow update #3 - Wk 4/5

I'm a bit late with this update, its number 3 but I am now in week 4 or 5 of using RapidBrow, here are the results...

My brows now (they need a trim and a tidy up!)

The change hasn't been extreme but I definitely have a more densely filled brow at this stage than from when I started, and I still have about 3 weeks until they reach their full potential.  What I have noticed is that they are growing at a much faster rate and I am having to pluck strays more often than did, I am having to trim them more as well.  I don't have to use as much of my Suqqu Brow pen as I did before which is brilliant, anything to shorten my routine in the morning is great.  


I have to admit that I have missed the odd morning or evening of RapidBrow application and I think its the type of product you have to be pretty religious with, but having said that I have still noticed an improvement and I am impressed overall!  I shall do a final update when I get to the 8 week mark.

New Ring

I originally saw this style of ring on buy now, blog later and knew instantly that I loved it!  I love simple, delicate designs when it comes to jewellery but also something that has a bit of an edge in a really non obvious way.... I'm not sure if that makes any sense but in my mind it sums up what I like!  Oh and gold, always gold.  I wish I could wear silver but it just doesn't suit my colouring for some reason, I also love rose gold but I haven't found anything to  purchase yet!

I love simple and understated, apart from my Michael Kors obviously but I think the colour of the strap keeps it not too in your face.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

I recently read an interview with Minnie Driver where she said she loves Caudalie Beauty Elixir and it reminded me to dig mine out!  She swore by it and anything that women does to look after her skin I would do in a heart beat!  She recently came on The Alan Titchmarsh Show and although she had her own Makeup Artist I did get the chance to pretend not to stare at her beautiful face for a bit when they both needed to use our makeup room for a while, and let me tell you she is BEAUTIFUL!  Personally I think cameras do nothing for her because I was never that taken with her before but cor blimey in person...... well lets just say she must have men falling at her feet, shes amazing! ..... Anyway! 

I used the Beauty Elixir on the plane home from Singapore and it worked wonders, so I thought I'd give it a go, slotting it in to my daily regime.  I have been spritzing on to my face and neck after cleansing and before moisturising and then again after makeup application.  I'm very pleased I started doing this, and I don't know if its a coincidence but my breakouts have calmed down since.  I did see Fleur say that Gemma said the Rosemary in it, is apparently good for acne.  I also love the finish it gives when spraying after powdering, when its settled my skin still looks matte, just not caked.  Which is good!  Such a nice product! 

It has Grape, Orange Blossom, Rose, Organic Balm Mint and Rosemary.  I know Rose is good for calming, the Rosemary is the astringent and the minty smell is so fresh and awakening its lovely! 

*I acquired the big bottle as gratis when I worked at Space NK and I was sent the little bottle last year but these are 100% my honest opinions!  I seriously just love this product!
