.Suqqu Waterproof Liquid Eyebrow Pen.

I have been wanting to try this eyebrow pen ever since I saw Lisa Eldridge speak about it and then Tanya Burr, which was a long time ago!  I was struggling to justify the purchase because at £20 its quite expensive for a brow product that will probably run out a lot quicker than my usual brown eyeshadow.  Also I wasn't sure if I'd be able to cope with the more natural brow look that this would give me!  Because I am going travelling in a few weeks I thought this could be the perfect product for me to still have my brows on whilst swimming in the sea or pools and probably sweating an awful lot too!

The colour I chose was Moss Green which is the darker one, the lighter one is more of a light brown, perfect for blondes.

I absolutely love this pen, I don't think I will ever be able to go back to shadow or pencil.  Eek, I will have to get used to the idea of shelling out £20 a time!  But its great because it doesn't look like you have anything on your brows and the pointed soft nib allows to to delicately create the perfect brow shape that lasts all day!!  I will be giving it the real test when I actually land in South East Asia though and I will be sure to keep you updated on its performance!

Here are some pictures on my brows with and without the product...

Without :(

With :)

I really likes it, I does :D

This is an old picture of how I used to do my eyebrows and above is with the Suqqu pen, which do you prefer?

Thanks for reading, let me know if you have used this product or any other Suqqu products before!

.Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream.

A quick post to tell you my thoughts on Garnier's Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream, I'm sure a lot of you have tried it by now and I would love to know what you think.  I was very excited to try it when it came out as I had heard so much about BB Creams through youtubers in Asia and America and it seemed to be the only one out on the UK market and also the cheapest!  A lot of other brands are doing them now but after a day traipsing round London beauty counters it seems they are only sold on airport counters?!  It seems silly to me as everyone is so keen to try them but hopefully we will see them on our local counters soon!  PLEASE let me know if you have seen anyone that has theirs on normal counters yet!  I am off to South East Asia soon so I'm sure I will try lots of the ones available there too.

Anyway, my experience with Garniers BB Cream for the first few days was amazing, I loved the  amount of coverage, the finish was beautiful and it seemed to last really well on my skin!  BUT after about a week, I realised I was COVERED in spots, I do have very spot prone skin but if I look after my skin religiously I tend to keep most of them at bay and the only thing I had changed in my routine was the BB Cream :( I decided to persevere for a few days to see if they cleared up but they didn't, it only seemed to get worse.  Very sad times to find a product with the perfect finish only to find it ruins your skin!!!  So, much to my huge sadness I have stopped using it and given it to my mum to try, I did warn her about the possible spottiness don't worry haha!

Here are some swatches for you -

What have your experiences been with this product?  Have you used any BB Creams by any other brands?

.My Thoughts on GlossyBox.

I am missing out on this months Glossy Box as I am going travelling very soon and need to save all the pennies I can, and as much as I tried to convince myself I should keep my Glossy Box subscription as its only £12.95 a month, a feeling of guilt crept up on me every time I tried!  So for now I will be GlossyBoxless and I know I will have surges of jealousy when I see what everyone got in their September boxes!

I will however be sure to subscribe again as soon as I'm back early next year because I love the concept and everything about it that I have experienced so far!  Even if I get a box where I don't think I will use some of the products I really don't mind as that is just part of it and I always end up using them oneway or another, or giving them to friends and family.

This was my August box, the last one I will receive for a while, so I thought I would just give you my thoughts on it.

The product I was most pleased about was the Murad Cleanser, which has been featured on previous posts because I had received one at an event earlier in the year.  I had run out of my other one so it was perfect timing.  I love it.

In all honesty I haven't had much time to try out the rest but I love the fragrance of the Ahava body lotion, its right up my street and complements my perfume taste perfectly as I either wear Narciso Rodriguez For Her or Chanel Mademoiselle which are similar richly sweet perfumes.

I am yet to try the other three products but I can't wait to try the mascara and the colourvitality, as for the Rebel Nails....maybe on my toes if I get bored one evening but the print isn't quite to my taste!

Thanks for reading guys and a MASSIVE thank you to Immediate PR for making me this weeks Blog of the Week!!  Yippee!

.Oh So Fresh.

Having fresh breath is an important part of my job, and sometimes chewing gum constantly throughout the day can get annoying!  These babies are great -

When I received them I just wacked one on my keyring and forgot about it for a few days, then when me and my boyfriend and two of our friends were half way through our very long drive to the countryside and I started to feel the first twinges of car sickness, I suddenly remembered my Sweet Breath spray!  A couple sprays and I felt so much better!  As we were camping for the weekend and generally being hungover a lot, we ended up using them loads and the four of us were big fans!

My boyfriend now has one on his keyring and I have one in my kit!

They're very tiny, have over 120 spray and are extremely affordable!

Thats my little finger!

They are available at www.sweetbreath.co.uk where you can also get a free sample to try yourself!

.Lauren's Way Clip in Hair Extensions.

I have a lot of past experience of using hair extensions, from the age of about 18 (8 yrs ago) I have been using them on myself and other people.  I started off dabbling with the glue in wefts, which at the time I loved for their easy, cheap and attainable way of getting long locks.  After a couple of years of regular use I noticed how bad they are for your hair and would give myself breaks in between and then eventually managed to ween myself off them.  Then the clip in's started to take off, which I really liked the idea of and as much as I had used them on other people for my job, I had never actually used them on myself.  After years of trying to resist them and wanting to try brands such as Halo and Foxy Locks hair extensions, I noticed that Lauren's Way were also doing some clip in's of their own.  Because of the joyful product that is their self tanning lotion, I thought, why not give these a go too!

They managed to match my hair very well from the photos I sent them, I have a kind of unintentional ombre thing going on from growing out my bleach but I thought the colour worked very well.  The quality of the hair is beautiful, very silky, thick and strong.  I think its remy hair but I'm not 100% because I don't think it says anywhere on the packet.  The wefts are double layered so if its thickness you're after then you will love these.  The ends of the hair look very natural, although them being 20 inch extensions I think I would personally want to cut them.

Here is a before and after, I am at work so excuse all the distracting background!  I also curled them with my Diva Pro Hot Wand, blog post coming soon.

Short hair

Long hair!

The colour I have is #5 Caramel, I really liked the way they blended in and the instant thickness they give you but the one downside is that the clips have only been sewn in by the top hole on the clip and not the bottom hole, if you see the picture above you can see the holes there.  Because this hair is so thick, it unfortunately weighs the clips down so much that they fall back on themselves and consequently don't feel very secure.  A way you can combat this is to back comb at the root of your own hair and clip them in to that for more of and anchor, but I feel this would cause unnecessary damage to your own hair if you were to use them on a regular basis.  I am not sure if this is just a slight fault with the ones that I had but I feel its fairly important for them to feel secure.  Having said that, I am used to the glue in ones which couldn't feel more secure, all be it damaging, plus I have very fine hair so that could effect it too.

Please let me know if you have tried these extensions and what your experiences have been, they are by far the best quality and thickness I have come across so if the clips were more secure they would be peerrrrfect!

They are available at
